Hayden Blake has never dealt with her problems head on. As an international recording artist, she uses her fame as a veil for her inner demons. After pushing everyone away, she is now forced to deal with life on her own. With just one friend standing by her side, she’s crumbling underneath and panic is rising. In her eyes, life is a measure of how liked you are and her fans are starting to turn on her. Partying and drinking have become her only outlets. She feels like she’s drowning in a sea of remorse and guilt, so she turns to love in hopes of finding herself again. When a relationship goes a rye she just can’t take it anymore and her world starts to spin once more. Before she can say “rehab” she’s knee deep in it. Group therapy, meditation and Tylenol replace the drinking, partying and sex. Six months later she is released and forced to take on the world alone, yet again.
In this novel you’ll follow Hayden’s journey of sobriety. Watch as her family makes their way back into her life. Cheer her on when she falls down and picks herself up. And love with her when she meets a new guy. With life’s twists and turns, Hayden never knows what’s around the corner, but she has to face the world on her own. As much as she doesn’t want to.
